LifeShapes 3.0

LifeShapes is a set of graphical representations, each symbolizing a teaching of Jesus or a principle from his life, intended to serve as the framework for a Discipling language on which a culture of Discipleship can be founded.

Mike Breen first began developing LifeShapes in the early 1980s.

Engagement with LifeShapes typically occurs within a mentoring relationship, with one person investing in another as a disciple. After a year in such a mentoring connection, like a Huddle, individuals can utilize LifeShapes to recollect Jesus' Words, Works, and Ways, and to put them into practice in their own lives as well as in the lives of those around them.

The LifeShapes App functions as a reference tool for the LifeShapes Discipleship framework. It enables users to interactively review each of the LifeShape structures in graphical format. Furthermore, users have access to additional Scripture, Shape, Story (SSS) details pertaining to most shapes. Some LifeShapes even come with their corresponding "Shadow" counterpart designed to distinguish false interpretations of Christ's teachings. Additionally, many LifeShapes encompass practical variations that have been refined through our Discipleship experiences or passed down by our Huddle mentors.
